This delicious cake was three different flavors, classic vanilla, classic chocolate, and a rich red velvet, all layered with a tasty almond buttercream. Welcome baby!
With two parents into arts and video games, this little boy’s first birthday was destined to be Ninja! We made a full cake for all of the party guests, and a small cake just for baby Max! Karate chop that cake!
When it comes to our babies, less is more, at least when sugar is involved! This cake was a classic vanilla cake layered gently with a simple whipped frosting and fresh strawberries. All organic, of course!
If you know anything about 4 year old girls, you should know that they have got a specific idea and opinion about everything! This cake was such a delight to create and deliver to a sweet little girl that knew she only wanted Ariel, and with “no tail”.
I just loved making cake for these two beautiful, caring, kind and compassionate people! We served up Dark Chocolate cake with a Frangelico Buttercream, Spice cake with Gran Marnier Buttercream, and Lemon cake with a light Limoncello Buttercream.
I had the great pleasure of serving up treats for 40+ amazing ladies Wednesday, as they lectured, listened, and conversed about our bodies and the holistic, natural, and chemical options we have to aid us as women. What better option than a Raspberry Leaf Tea inspired Gluten free, Vegan, Raspberry cupcake topped with a Dark Chocolate Coconut Cream Ganache!
As I was looking through the thousands of photos of my sweet 4 year old I came across this, her very first cake. I have always loved baking, and creating, and can tend to be a bit controlling (who isn’t, though). So it was only fitting that I should decide to make my own baby shower cake to welcome one of the most important people in my life. I rolled the fondant with a sweet baby print and hid a baby foot “pushing” out from the belly.
What a delight this wedding was! This bride and groom kept the cake southern simple butter sponge, topped with a vanilla buttercream. All these beautiful floral cupcakes were displayed atop a hand made moss covered wood pyramid, and sprinkled throughout with fresh baby roses and rhinoculous.
